Welcome to the Pittsburgh East (PA) chapter of the American Wine Society. Our chapter is devoted to learning about wine in a fun and informal manner. We are wine novices, "experts," amateur and professional winemakers, and people just wanting to learn more about wine.
At each meeting we enjoy a fantastic program covering a characteristic, varietal, or locality of wine while tasting and evaluating eight wines with those attributes. We also enjoy tasty appetizers matching the theme/wines of the evening.
We meet the first Friday of each month in Level Green, only 5 minutes off Rt. 22 at the Monroeville/Murrysville border.
